I recently travelled with Easyjet from C de G airport. I expected to be able to get a snack and purchase some last minute items after clearing security, but was amazed to find that I was simply in a holding pen with no facilities at all. Its the same in Limoges with Ryanir - is this normal in French airports? Its a long time to go without .........

Without food, when you last ate 7 hours before and had planned to have it there,
    and
visit a WC - I could'nt find one in the 'waiting' area. Remember the check in 2hrs ahead of boarding...

But when you go through security there is NOTHING.............in the UK (eg Manchester or Liverpool) there are all sorts of food outlets and shops after securiity before you go to the waiting area. With eboarding passes you dont go to a check in desk.

Aéroport Lyon-Saint Exupéry had a shop, vending machines and toilets in the waiting area. I flew with EasyJet as well. So I wouldn't say your experience is necessarily normal, but it definitely was unfortunate.

Terry, what about toilets? Every human needs to urinate regularly, even in France. Nothing to do with culture.
