Property in France: French Companies / Inheritance

    Am reposting this as I think I put it in the wrong place!!

    can anybody tell me the facts about whether or not purchasing a property in the name of a French company, rather than in personal names, can be beneficial regarding the inheritance system? my husband and myself own property in France, and he has 2 children; I have none. Surely if the property was transferred into a company rather than our own names, they would inherit his share, or a portion of, the company? I'm confused! I know that they are protected, but it seems to be a fairly common belief that the law can be side stepped in the case of a company.
